SUCCESSFUL POKER RUN WEEKEND AT THE LAKE

 

By all accounts Poker Run weekend was a smashing success at the lake. While exact numbers are hard to come by we are told more than 110 boats participated and hundreds more watched.

Lake Cumberland is one of Kentucky’s favorite recreation spots.  However, there is a price to pay for all this popularity and its trash.  We invite you to roll up your sleeves, lace up your boots, and put on your work gloves to take part in the 18th Annual Lake Cumberland Cleanup.  The cleanup is held at locations all over the lake in an effort to remove trash, tires, appliances, etc., from the shoreline of Lake Cumberland.  Gloves and garbage bags will be furnished.  Participants are asked to check-in on the day of the clean up at one of the following locations:
